Marchellas Murphy
Marchellas Murphy began his career in construction working alongside his father and now leads a second-generation construction company. With over 20 years of experience in new construction development, human resources, sales leadership, and finance management, he has a strong track record of success. He has spent more than a decade leading seasoned professionals and collaborating with government officials on community development projects. Passionate about mentorship, he supports emerging entrepreneurs and promotes apprenticeship programs for workforce development. Marchellas holds a B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Chemistry from Tennessee State University
Brandon Bell
Brandon Bell is an experienced financial services leader and consultant with over 20 years of experience in HR and IT and a proven record of driving strategic transformation, operational excellence, and organizational change. With deep expertise in consulting and change management, he specializes in aligning people, processes, and technology to support business objectives and enhance organizational performance. Brandon is a proud graduate of First Horizon Bank Inaugural Emerging Leader Program as well as holding leadership positions in other organizations. Beyond his professional achievements, he is deeply committed to both professional and personal mentorship and talent development. Brandon holds a B.S. in Business Economics from Florida A&M University.
Jaimie Scott
Jaimie Scott serves as Director of the Business Office, where she oversees budget, acquisitions, and human resources operations. She brings over 19 years of federal government service with demonstrated expertise across all three disciplines. Over the course of her career, Jaimie has managed budgets exceeding $660 million, leading large-scale fiscal operations with a strong emphasis on accountability, strategic planning, and resource stewardship. Her experience directing acquisitions and workforce management functions has given her a comprehensive command of the organizational levers that drive mission effectiveness. This cross-functional background, spanning financial management, procurement, and people operations, positions her as a well-rounded and highly capable addition to the Board.
Kamika Ward
Kamika Ward is a dedicated leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. A proud graduate of Northwestern State University, she has built an accomplished career in both the clinical and leadership aspects of Radiology, where she developed expertise in patient care, operations management, team development, and organizational leadership.
In addition to her healthcare background, Kamika has been actively involved in real estate investing since the early 2000s and currently serves as a licensed real estate professional in Texas. Through her work, she helps individuals and families achieve homeownership and build generational wealth while contributing to the growth and development of local communities.
Kamika is passionate about empowering the next generation through education, mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement. She brings a unique combination of healthcare leadership, business acumen, and real-world experience to her service on the Board of Directors. Her commitment to fostering opportunities for youth reflects her belief that investing in young people today creates stronger communities for tomorrow.
Kristin Mosher
Kristin J. Mosher is the founder of The Law Office of Kristin J. Mosher, PLLC and has practiced law in Tennessee for more than 26 years. Her experience includes litigation, appellate advocacy, arbitration, construction law, business counseling, and strategic problem-solving for individuals and organizations.
Throughout her career, Kristin has been actively involved in community service and nonprofit leadership, serving on the boards of several charitable and civic organizations. She brings extensive experience in governance, advocacy, communications, and organizational leadership.
Prior to her legal career, Kristin worked in communications and marketing and later served as an adjunct law professor at Aquinas College. Her diverse professional background provides a unique perspective on leadership, collaboration, and community development.
Kristin is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Square One Community Partners and supports its mission to equip individuals with the education, skills, and opportunities necessary to achieve lasting personal and economic success.
Cowarna Buchanan
Cowarna L. Buchanan brings more than 23 years of experience in training, leadership development, and operational excellence within the nuclear industry. She has led training programs focused on nuclear power fundamentals, safety standards, regulatory compliance, and workforce readiness for personnel requiring access to government nuclear facilities. As a member of senior leadership teams, she has championed Human Performance initiatives, process improvement, and employee development. Cowarna, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Judson University and a Master of Science in Managerial Leadership from National Louis University.
